To a casual observer it appears that The Village Social is always bustling with customers.  I figure there must be a reason why this restaurant is so popular.  The Village Social shares a big parking lot with other businesses in the same shopping strip, hence parking could be a problem during peak dining hours.  However, its Main Street location makes it walkable to village locals. The restaurant offers a vast indoor dining area and outdoor dining accessed through multiple doorways.  Every table is socially distanced.

As is our usual routine, my dining companion and I opted to dine mid-afternoon on a weekday to avoid the crowd.  We ordered our usual appetizer of Crispy Calamari but felt adventurous enough to add Hoisin Glazed Spareribs.  The calamari was okay but the breading did not stick well enough to the calamari rings.  Unlike the usual marinara sauce pairing, this dish was served with a piquant remoulade that was delightfully tasty.  The Hoisin Glazed Spareribs were absolutely exquisite!  Falling off the bone, the scrumptious pork was prepared with a Hoisin-soy-tamarind barbecue sauce topped with sesame seeds and scallions.  The appetizer portion size is enough for two diners.

For our entrees we chose the Pan-seared Salmon and the Bolognese pasta.

The salmon sat on a bed of Tex-Mex mix of roasted vegetables and avocado-based sauce.  The salmon was perfectly crusted outside and delicately flaky inside.  My companion voted this salmon dish one of the best he’s tasted, and the vegetables a distinctive and divine pairing to the fish.

Bolognese is my favorite pasta  sauce and none of the Bolognese sauces I’ve tried in restaurants compare to mine.  However, I will definitely go back to Village Social and order an entrée portion of the Glazed Spare Ribs which is the best I've ever tasted.
